Engineer - Hardward Verification


H/W verification engineer


  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in an engineering discipline. Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics preferred.
  • 3 – 8 years of work experience in mechanical/electro-mechanical product development and product testing.
  • Experience with creating test frameworks and setups including jigs and fixtures, test rigs, automated test scripts, etc.
  • Experience with standard test methods like HALT, HASS, vibration tests, thermal chamber tests, etc is a plus.
  • Experience with Linux is a plus.
  • Experience with scripting in Python/Matlab is a plus.
  • Experience with data acquisition tools, PLC, Raspberry pi, Arduino, etc is a plus.
  • Skills in project planning and implementation.
  • Capacity to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Excellent documentation skills and ability to communicate effectively.


  • Understand product requirements and create appropriate verification test cases.
  • Publish verification test plans and drive technical reviews of the same with stakeholders.
  • Conceptualize and create customized test environment, setups, jigs and fixtures for test execution.
  • Execute test cases including but not limited to functional tests, performance tests, reliability tests, regression tests and environmental stress tests.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and help in appropriate triaging of bugs and issues.
  • Analyse verification data, identify trends and recommend design improvements.
  • Maintain all verification data and publish detailed verification reports.
  • Approve product releases when product specifications and quality standards are reached.
  • Contribute to verification infrastructure development by creating standard test setups and automated test benches.
